Job Description:

We are working with a boutique internal comms agency, who provide employee engagement services to brands in the FTSE250. They build internal portals and intranet sites for their clients and employees. The Freelance Product Designer will play a hands-on role, designing and prototyping the overall functionality of products and features for this agency’s clients. The role would suit a Freelance Product Designer who has experience working for agencies, and who enjoys the fast paced nature of the environment. You should have a diverse portfolio that demonstrates they enjoy working on varied projects for lots of different types of brands.

Responsibilities:

• User research
• Creating personas
• Wireframes and prototypes
• Storyboarding
• Scenario and journey mapping
• Information architecture
• User flows
• Usability testing
• Execute and advocate for evidence-based product and design decisions
• Conduct user research and stakeholder interviews to gather evidence and requirements
• Synthesize and share findings and provide rationale for decisions
• Working within and adding to clients design systems
• Produce high quality design solutions through user research and discovery
• Market and competitor analysis
• Low-fi and high-fi wireframes
• Concepting and prototyping
• Scenario and journey mapping
• Usability testing

Requirements:

• Experience working for agencies or consultancies
• Confidence in conducting user interviews
• Excellent knowledge of Figma
• Collaborating with a UI Designer
• Must be UK based and able to work remotely
