Contract: Full Time, 12 Months Fixed Term

Virgin Media O2 has embarked on a major, once in a generation network infrastructure investment and this role will be responsible for developing, updating, and analysing the end to end Programme plan as well as the corresponding operational project plans. The role will lead progress meetings and will report progress against the baseline. Undertake ‘what if’ scenario planning and develop appropriate mitigations with various stakeholders and prepare/present reports for project teams and management.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:

• Experience in developing plans within programme planning / project management environment on large scale programmes
• Expert user of MS Project and proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Excel
• Sound Planning skills with the ability to foresee potential issues and implement change and contingencies as well as being an effective decision-maker in accordance with business requirements and constraints
• Good experience level in developing and communicating ‘what if’ scenarios, reflecting key risk and issues which are in the proximity of the critical path, providing effective analysis information to the Senior Leadership team to support decisions

• An analytical mind capable for “out-of-the-box” thinking to solve problems – ideally telecommunications
• Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple work streams simultaneously, work well under pressure whilst meeting deadlines, maintaining quality and attention to detail
