We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Food Styling and Food Product Photographer to bring our delectable meals to life in photos. Our meals are healthy but exciting, colorful, vibrant, nourishing. This weekly gig will not only require a keen eye for detail but also an innate understanding of our aesthetic, the art of food presentation, and the technical intricacies of photography.

The Gig:

• Food styling and food product photography
• Paid per day; one day/week every Thursday at our kitchen in Concord, CA, full day. This generally takes our current team on average 8 hours to complete

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a shot-list each week that includes all new menu items plus select items that have been marked as needing improvement.
• Take a high quality styled (1) photo in packaging, (2) plated photo top down, (3) lifestyle
• Clean up and reset the workspace to its original state after each shoot
• Maintain an immaculate and organized food photography workstation, and leave all food photography equipment and props at our kitchen
• Upload all (unedited) photos, according to existing naming and organizing conventions, to Dropbox by Friday at 5:00pm every week
• Provide feedback and guidance on how to streamline process of cooking for food photography
• Keep track of necessary adjustments to meal weights or portioning changes in grams and record all changes on a sheet for culinary admin to use
• Continuously improve on food photography and video systems and processes
• You will not be required to edit the photos

About You:

• Proven experience in food styling and photography.
• Proficiency with photography tools and software.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and accept feedback.
• Knowledge of food and its visual appeal.
• A proactive mindset with a penchant for continuous improvement.
