Need Podcast Engineer Onsite
Podcast Producer is needed in Los Angeles, United States.
Ultimately this could be an ongoing situation, but for now this is what we are troubleshooting and need help with:
We created a podcast studio in our home. We have a Sony A6100 camera that overheated streaming on 4k through OBS studio. We have two compressor mics with XLR cables going into a Sacarlet Focus right on one (Shur Mic) and another XLR going into the OBS on a 2 year old Mac Book Pro laptop.
We are streaming to YouTube and have extra high speed internet. We have done 4 episodes, and each one with it’s set of problems no matter how many tweaks we made. Twice we had to to switch to my iPhone to stream at the last min, and last night with no mics.
I was going to get a mixer but with the audio filters on OBS and the Focus Right, we feel we have enough control. We have to use adapters to plug into the Mac of course. I have pics of my setup as well.
We really need a podcast engineer who understands all aspects of this set up. We prefer someone to come to our home in Northridge and help us physically with this project. Here is our podcast channel: https://www.youtube.com/@themagicallifewithpsychicm3157/streams
Last night you can see it clipping. Maybe after I set the Sony camera to manual and adjusted the color/saturation and lighting, that is when I must have done something and it wouldnt work anymore? We use elgado streaming external capture card.
