Job Description:

Our nursery specializes in edible plants such as citrus, avocados, and deciduous fruit trees. We are looking for photographers and cinematographers to help capture and communicate the plants we grow at our nursery, at iconic landscapes, private gardens, and used in kitchens and in our everyday lives.

Photographer

Duties:

• Capture high-quality and visually appealing photographs for various purposes, including but not limited to portraits, events, products, and landscapes.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each project.
• Utilize artistic and technical skills to compose shots, adjust lighting, and select appropriate equipment.
• Edit and retouch photographs using industry-standard software to enhance their quality and appeal.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends in photography techniques, equipment, and editing software.
• Manage and organize digital files and maintain an efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with art directors, designers, and other team members to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Contribute to social media management by creating engaging visual content for various platforms.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a professional photographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of photography styles.
• Proficient knowledge of art direction principles, journalism ethics, color theory, and composition techniques.
• Excellent technical skills in operating cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and editing software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to capture the essence of a subject or scene through photography.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
• Proficiency in social media management platforms for sharing and promoting photography work.

Note: A degree or certification in photography or a related field is preferred but not required.
