Description:

GXM is seeking a talented Automation Engineer with experience on a variety of platforms such as WebDriverIO, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and API test automation tools such as Axios to work on an exciting new project. Candidate must have a strong background and depth of knowledge in software test-case development. The Test Automation Engineer is responsible for building test automation scripts against software requirements and supporting the development of a Program Test Guide. This fully remote position will be part-time, with hours per week depending on workload and guidance from your supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of a Test Guide outlining the Test Automation policies and processes the program office will utilize
• Develop automated tests using a variety of tools such as WebDriverIO, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and Axios
• Design, develop, modify, document and execute test plans, test scripts, test cases, and test scenarios based upon software requirements definition, in concert with the scrum process
• Perform manual QA on an as needed basis
• Conduct detailed analysis of test results found through automated testing and support the development team with the identification, escalation, and resolution of related risks and issues
• Utilizes testing knowledge and experience to advise leadership on the progress of the testing activities
• Work closely with the technical leads and product owners to develop plans, schedules, and present time estimation for testing activities to be performed
• Update and maintain test specifications and test plans via source control software
• Configure, administer and troubleshoot software test environment

Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship required
• Must possess an active secret clearance or above
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of experience as a Software Tester, SDET or similar role
• 2+ years developing automated tests with WebDriverIO, Selenium, and/or other tools using Page Object Model (POM)
• 2+ years of experience with version control such as GIT
• Experience testing and debugging Web and UI issues on the front end and back end
• Experience with Angular 2+, JavaScript/HTML, CSS, C# .NET or Java based applications
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Desired:

• 1+ years of experience in accessibility and accessibility standards, such as Section 508 Compliance and WCAG 2.0 AA
