Digital Marketing Web Development Specialist (Onsite)

New Journey AI/Genesis10 is hiring for our client, a Milwaukee based insurance company.

Pay: $30.00-35.00/hr

Location: Hybrid (Onsite in Milwaukee, WI)

Period of Performance: Starting now through the end of 2023

Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10/New Journey AI employees will be considered for this position.

Summary

This is a full-time, short-term contract position to assist in building and migrating Advisor websites from a retiring content management system to a new one. The primary responsibility of the Digital Marketing Web Development Specialist will be to maintain and improve the digital experience of our client’s exclusive sales force through front-end development, content deployment and design work. The ideal candidate will maintain, improve and enhance existing websites, and create new websites (using existing templates) with fresh content and design elements. The candidate will QA and test new sites as they roll out to production, document and react to necessary adjustments, and route/handle the internal compliance process to gain all vital approvals. Collaboration with Marketing agencies and internal Marketing and Compliance partners to understand the Advisor’s digital needs and enhance their digital presence will be key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, marketing, communications, web development or design.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience creating and designing websites. Solid understanding of web technology and well versed in web usability standard methodologies.
• Ability to code websites using HTML/CSS within a content management system for cross-browser / cross-device challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and be willing to both implement, code and deploy enhancements to digital properties and instruct non-technical users how to work in a web content management system.
• Strong organization skills with focus on setting priorities and delivering quality results under tight constraints.
• Proven track record to drive projects through to completion while showing initiative and good decision-making.

Additional Desirable Experience

• QA testing experience, skilled with Adobe Photoshop and applying design specifications to functional code, JavaScript, Financial Services experience and Vendor management skills
