Job Description

We are looking for an experienced 3D Artist experienced in creating game ready art assets for VR / AR desktop and mobile applications. You will be working alongside engineers, developers and other 3D artists on client and internal projects, and will be expected to contribute in a work environment where collaborative problem solving, and delivery of quality applications is key.

Responsibilities

• To develop optimized game ready models, be fluent in CAD conversion, texturing and light baking. Models will be deployed in interactive 3D applications for our customers.
• To develop 3D models based on CAD drawings, photographs, engineering schematics, technical guides, sketches etc.
• Work with the art team and respect directions set by Senior Artist, Art Director and Project management.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in animation, gaming, engineering, computer science OR an acceptable combination of creativity, education and experience
• Well-versed in 3D Studio Max, Photoshop and related tools
• At least 1 year experience in Virtual Reality or related industries
• Strong knowledge of low polygon modeling, texturing/ lighting & specifications understanding skills
• Strong sense of optimization working with varied technical constraints
• Experience in gaming or other real time 3D applications a plus
• Having design skills like Interface Design, Texture Creation, Storyboarding a plus
