Web design

Work within the Marketing team with responsibility for designing, building and maintaining the company website.

Main duties and responsibilities

Web

A Web Designer focuses on the company website. Working closely with MD, product & Design team to design, develop and maintain the company website.

This will involve:

• Collaborating with MD, Product & Design team to develop ideas and refine into high fidelity.
• Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis.
• Build prototype and wireframe models that outline the website experience.
• Executing all visual design stages from concept to final artwork.
• Working closely with Design leader to adhere existing to brand guidelines.

User Interface

Within the role there will also be an opportunity to work on the user interface of the Epro application, taking high level requirements to create and implement a user interface that is intuitive but also has the right look and feel required in the product design.

This will involve:

• Collaborating with Product Management, Design leader and Development to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
• Executing visual design stages from UX requirements to final hand-over to development.
• Conceptualising original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Adhere to the User Interface approach, library and reference documentation relating to design within the Adobe Creative Cloud.

Elements of experience

Web

A Web Designer has good communication skills coupled with the ability to adhere to brand identity and guidelines and transform this into the company website to the highest possible level of quality.

Further qualities and attributes that aid in the success of this role are:

• A logical, methodical approach to problem solving, with a can-do attitude, but also not afraid to ask for help where necessary.
• Ability to create, maintain, and document a high level of the company website.
• Knowledge of design methodologies and processes.

• The ability to communicate with all levels of the business.

The candidate should have experience of some or all:

Web

1. Adobe.

• XD.
• Photoshop.
• Illustrator.
• Media Encoder.
• After effects.
• Lightroom.
• Creative cloud.

1. Web design & development.

• Visual Studio or similar.
• Figma.
• WordPress.
• HTML / CSS.

1. Social media.

• Management of online presence.

1. Copywriting experience would be welcome.

Salary:

£22,000.00 per year
