We are looking for a jaw dropping freelance VFX editor who can create and edit exciting videos for social media.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our content team to ensure visual effects are seamlessly integrated into the final product
• Create and edit exciting social media videos using Visual Effects.
• Work with our content team to understand the creative vision and intention of each shot and sequence
• Ensure consistency in visual effects across the entire project
• Use software such as Adobe After Effects, Nuke, and Maya to create and edit visual effects
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure project timelines and goals are met
• Provide accurate time and cost estimates for each visual effects shot or sequence
• Manage and organize files, assets, and render outputs to maintain project efficiency

Skills and Experience:

• Proficient in industry-standard VFX software such as Nuke, After Effects, and Maya.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Familiarity with color correction, compositing, and motion graphics.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Ability to understand and interpret storyboards and client briefs.
• Experience in creating visual effects for film, television, or advertising.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling and animation is a plus.
• Fluent in the use of a camera for shooting videos/film.
• An understanding of colour grading.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to organise and schedule own work and to work independently.
• Able to travel.

Salary:

£20.00-£50.00 per hour
