About the Position:

We are looking for a junior web developer who will learn and work 20-40 hours per week on assisting the production team in all aspects of front-end web development. You should have a good grasp of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and be ready to learn other backend languages as needed for projects.

You will work closely with our project manager, senior developers, and graphic designers in order to help achieve client goals in terms of the look and functionality of their website. There is a lot of potential for future career growth for individuals that show progress and learning. This is an entry-level position that includes a 3-6 months training period.

Requirements:

• Boot camp certification or equivalent experience
• Excellent understanding of CSS/HTML standards and best practices
• Good understanding of responsive development
• Experience with JavaScript ES6+ or jQuery
• Some experience with MERN stack
• Some experience with React.js (16.0+)
• Browser compatibility issues and ways to get around it

Optional:

• Understanding and desire to use CSS pre-processing (LESS/SASS/etc)
• Experience in iOS and Android app development
• Experience in React Native EXPO
• Experience using X-Code and/or Android Studio

Job Types:
