Director of Marketing
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Marketing to oversee the promotion and advertising efforts at Ice Cream Factory. As the Director of Marketing, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and building brand awareness. Your responsibilities will include developing a comprehensive marketing plan, approving campaigns, measuring the return on investment of advertising methods, and managing various marketing activities. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team and make a significant impact on our brand’s success.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Planning:
- Develop and execute an overall marketing plan that aligns with our business objectives and drives growth.
- Approve and oversee promotional campaigns, ensuring consistent brand messaging and effective audience targeting.
- Measure and analyze the return on investment of various advertising methods, optimizing marketing efforts for maximum impact.
- Connecting with Others:
- Participate in interviews on other podcasts once per week, representing our brand and sharing our expertise to reach new audiences.
- Budget Management:
- Develop quarterly marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively to achieve marketing objectives.
- Update budgets quarterly to reflect changes in priorities and market conditions, ensuring optimal utilization of funds.
- Content Strategy:
- Create content pillars once per month, outlining key themes and topics that resonate with our target audience.
- Develop a content calendar once per month, planning and scheduling content across various channels to maintain a consistent and engaging presence.
- Maintain a library of keyword research and SEO strategies, updating them monthly to optimize our content for search engines and improve organic reach.
- Team Management:
- Communicate effectively with the marketing staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.
- Review key performance indicators (KPIs) with the team, assessing campaign performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement training and quality assurance programs for new hires and experienced employees, nurturing their professional growth and expertise.
- Ensure that the marketing team shares the company’s values and mission, fostering a positive work culture and collaborative environment.

Contract Details:
This position is a W-2 employee role, and compensation will be based on experience. The position is remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements.
