The team is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who can help us continue the style of art we have all come to love in Minecraft as well as help to shepherd it into the future. This Graphic Designer should be a fan of Minecraft, passionate about the style and excited about its future, and will guide visual development in marketing materials, web design, print, internal team documents and more, while upholding our brand guidelines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems
• Create marketing materials, web design, print materials, and internal studio documents and presentations
• Prepare sketches or layouts to guide internal and external partners in asset creation and creative marketing
• Create designs for Minecraft consumer products packaging, retail POS/signage, and marketing assets
• Work with Minecraft team to execute on creative strategy, including planning and creation of art assets for a wide range of marketing efforts

Qualifications:

• 2-5+ years of experience in media and design with an emphasis on playful and engaging graphic design, motion-graphics, document design and digital and print materials
• Advanced user of Adobe Creative Suite
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability
• Basic ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic and film
• Basic ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design
• Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images
• Experience playing Minecraft a plus!
