UI/UX Designer - [RL Dev Infra] Tools Team
The RLDI Tools Team is in charge of creating and maintaining the tools that make client devs and teams more effective and efficient.
Client has a wide charter from intern tools that aid with strategic planning (used by orgs with more than 3000 people in it) to device control for dev workflow & automation.
Client products are used internally by thousands of developers and leadership in client.
By joining client team candidate will be helping us get rid of sheets & docs for status reports, to improve client emulator infrastructure and making device control easier and seamlessly integrate into client workflow.
Position description
Client is looking for an experienced UI/UX designer to help us create better workflows for client internal tools (web apps).
Part of your scope will be to create mockups for client designs, work with client Tech Lead and PM to figure out the best way to present information to the users of client apps.
Candidate will also help us digest the intake from customer interviews and convert that to improved user interfaces and experiences.
Responsibilities
- Creation of mockups for current and new features using client internal design tool or Figma and make sure they align with other internal client systems and guidelines
- Analysis and suggestions to improve the current user experience and workflow, in particular for the NUX
- Work closely with client TL and PM to discuss user stories and data flow/input
Requirements
Standard requirements of a UI/UX Designer with 2-4 years of experience
Note
- Approved Client Remote Locations: Denver, CO , New York, NY , Houston, TX , Los Angeles, CA , and San Diego, CA . Burlingame
- Top 3 must-have HARD skills: UI for reporting, data management or web UI
- Figma experience is good
- Not just looking for design but someone that can understand the user experience and how to make it better
- Good to have skills: NA

Developing tooling web interfaced and they need help designing that new tooling

Typical Day in the Role
Review work with CWAM and tech lead, discuss current designers, look at pain points reported, discuss new features and how we want to approach them.
Not too many meetings maybe only during customer interviews.
How will performance be measured
They have specific deliverables, making sure they are delivering on time and the satisfactory
Pay Range: $50+
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
