Contract: Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Delivering trending and breaking news to the audience 24/7
• Building a daily schedule based on technology news and original stories
• Packaging, posting, and measuring success of articles
• Improving and targeting wider audiences
• Proactively researching and finding the latest tech news
• Spotting stories that the targeted audience will love
• Scheduling and posting content via Facebook and Twitter
• Creating captions, headlines, and thumbnails for articles
• Collaborating with the wider team and sharing knowledge
• Bringing new ideas to the team and trying new content ideas
• Working across a seven-day rota and covering live events
• Monitoring insights using social media analysis tools
• Reporting on effectiveness and maximizing results
• Being a brand ambassador for UNILAD Tech and LADbible Group

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in a target-driven social media company or publisher
• Knowledge and passion for trending tech news
• Passionate about social media and storytelling
• Organized and calm under pressure
• Ability to research and present findings
• Good use of Adobe, including Photoshop
• Attention to detail and flexibility in work
• Ability to make effective decisions and use own initiative
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
