We are themap design. A company specialized in interior design based in Bangkok.

Role Description

The position is for a freelance candidate, a hybrid contract Interior Designer role with flexibility for remote work. The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing and executing creative and functional interiors for clients of themap design. The Interior Designer will also work with other designers and architects to create bespoke projects, and develop design standards, specifications, and guidelines to ensure high-quality outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Interior Design roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Strong proficiency in design software, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop to create concepts and execute detailed specifications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of building materials, construction codes, and safety standards.
• Experience in dealing with clients, consultants and contractors for project management.
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• An active interest in keeping abreast of design trends and developments in the field, as well as good written and oral communication skills are important.
• Chinese speaking as a plus.
