About the role:
The primary role is to design and develop creative and engaging eLearning solutions that enable our colleagues to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to become confident and competent in their roles. Youâll work with subject matter experts to determine the learning outcomes and develop a variety of learning solutions that meet the needs of the Trust and achieve the desired learning outcomes in the most effective way.
About you:
You will be able to work in partnership with internal subject matter experts (e.g. Care Quality, IT and Operational Teams) to identify the performance standards and learning outcomes for digital learning solutions. You will design high quality digital / instructional learning solutions that use a variety of methods that best achieve the learning outcomes, e.g. eLearning, video, virtual learning and how to guides. Youâll have the ability to test and quality assure all eLearning and digital learning solutions; to create sustainable eLearning solutions that are integrated into the core learning & development.
Essential skills:
- An accredited qualification in learning design e.g. Certificate in Training Practice CIPD or TAP L&D Qualifications.
- Design of eLearning and digital learning solutions using a variety of solutions e.g. authoring tools (such as Articulate 360), video & editing, quizzes and user guides. Experience of using Adobe Creative Suite â specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is desirable.
- Experience in using a Learning Management System, as both Admin and Learner.
- Ability to write effective instructional text, audio scripts, video scripts.
