Overview:
The Freelance Creative Coordinator works with Creative Director to facilitate daily scheduling, communication, and overall workflow for the team. Acts as the internal communicator between departments and interacts with external clients for postings and asset management. This is not an entry-level position â at least one year previous related experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with all internal departments (music, graphics, writers, editors, AEs, etc.)
- Take notes during client calls and meetings and handle requests such as but not limited to scheduling and organizing multiple tasks, calendars, lists, timelines and people.
- Assist in project setup and overall asset management. Master the details of a project such as project number and bin organization. Meet deadlines and motivate others to accomplish deadline goals.
- Professionally interface with external clients to schedule calls, coordinate media assets, handle postings, wire drives and fiber sessions.
- Participate in the creative process including writing, editorial notes, graphics requests and feedback, etc.
- Review all work before submitting. QC smaller projects when requested.
- Ensure that all administrative needs are met, like time sheets and related projects.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Familiarity with requesting Assistant Editorial needs (e.g., overcutting/finding shots) and an understanding of the post-production creative and workflow process.
- Proactive communication, with the ability to effectively relay information with all levels within and outside of the organization.
- Strong time management, resource management and organization skills. Incredible organization with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently while keeping key stakeholders in the loop.
- Availability to work overtime and weekends with little or no advance notice.
- Passion for entertainment marketing.
Compensation + Benefits: Rate: $22-25/Hourly
