Overview JOMO Studio is on the lookout for a skilled and passionate part-time Videographer/Photographer. This role is pivotal in capturing the essence of our brand and products through stunning visuals and storytelling. Based in our downtown Toronto office, this position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with our Social Media Manager to create engaging photo and video content. Compensation Competitive pay based on experience. Location This role will be located primarily at the Toronto store location at 21A Bathurst Street, with the possibility of remote work for content creation and analysis tasks. Reporting This role reports to the Co-Founder (Dun) Role Description As our Videographer/Photographer, you will play a crucial role in bringing our brand’s story to life through compelling imagery and videos. Your creative skills will directly contribute to our social media presence and overall marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and… a passion for visual storytelling. This role has immense capacity to grow into a full-time position over time. Qualifications We’re looking for someone who: • Has proven experience in photography and videography, with a strong portfolio to showcase their work. • Possesses expertise in photo and video editing software. • Demonstrates creativity and an eye for detail in visual storytelling. • Is proficient in handling various photography and videography equipment. • Has the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs. • Exhibits strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration. • Is self-motivated and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. Areas of Responsibility • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to plan and execute photo and video shoots. • Capture high-quality photographs and videos for use across our social media and marketing platforms. • Edit photos and videos to align with our brand aesthetics and campaign objectives. • Manage and organize digital media files. • Stay updated with the latest trends in photography and videography to continuously innovate our content. • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and marketing strategies.
