Job Description:

DriveBook is a Montreal-based company that provides tailored scenic driving routes. We are looking for a talented Content Writer who is passionate about travel, exploration, and the open road. The successful candidate will craft compelling descriptions of scenic routes, intriguing stopovers, and local lore to enhance the experience of our users. Responsibilities include researching and writing route descriptions, delving into local highlights, collaborating with design and mapping teams, engaging with the DriveBook community, staying updated on travel trends, and upholding the brand voice.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Travel & Tourism, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of writing experience, preferably in travel, tourism, or automotive sectors.
3. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a flair for storytelling.
4. Ability to conduct thorough research and translate findings into engaging content.
5. Knowledge of Montreal and Canadian landscapes, culture, and roadways is a significant asset.
6. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable.
7. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
8. Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems.
