Job Description

We are looking for a Design System Specialist to join our team on a 12-month FTC. In this role, you will support the Head and Senior designers in shaping and delivering the design system tools, components, patterns, and interactions across multiple brands and platforms. You will collaborate with design, UX engineers, and development teams to create robust tools and components that encourage design system adoption and increase productivity. Additionally, you will help maintain a flexible design system governance model and advocate for the value and impact of design systems throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience building and maintaining design systems
• A design system mindset and understanding of how design components promote creativity
• Attention to pixel-perfect standards, brand guidelines, design principles, typography, UI, color, layout, and iconography
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience working with designers and engineers
• Strong technical background with a basic understanding
• Experience designing for TV or mobile

Team Overview

The Design System Team is responsible for ensuring visual cohesion across multiple brands and platforms. They document design principles, create specialized tools, and champion a unified design language. The team plays a key role in streamlining processes for a more efficient and consistent digital experience.

You will be based at our Osterley Campus, which is conveniently located near Syon Lane train station.
