Job Description:
Gulf Coast Symphony is seeking a dynamic and creative professional to capture photos, videos, and other content and turn them into engaging social media posts. This role involves assisting in planning and managing the social media strategy, shooting and editing photos and videos at various locations, designing graphics, writing copy, scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and tracking and reporting on analytics. The successful candidate should have a thorough understanding of various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, etc. Regular on-location video and photography work is required, so applicants must live in Southwest Florida.
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or Media
- 1-3 years of experience creating content
- High-quality phone/laptop/camera
- Transportation
- Social media marketing experience (1 year minimum)
- Writing skills (1 year minimum)
- Residency in Southwest Florida
Additional Information:
- Job Type: Part-time
- Expected hours: 10-20 per week (may transition to full-time in the future)
- Flexible schedule
- Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
