Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior/Lead UI Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to deliver high-quality and responsive user experiences. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead UI development projects and mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
2. Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into well-structured, interactive elements.
3. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of UI components to ensure high performance and usability.
5. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
6. Optimize applications for different devices and browsers, considering responsive design principles.
7. Lead UI development projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and requirements.
8. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior UI developers, fostering growth and skill development.
9. Stay updated with the latest UI trends, technologies, and best practices, advocating for their integration into our development processes.
10. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and provide innovative solutions for UI improvements.
11. Maintain and enhance existing UI components and applications, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement UI development strategies and standards.
13. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and maintain high code quality.
14. Collaborate with UX designers to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
15. Participate in agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-up meetings.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a UI Developer or in a similar role.
3. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
4. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and responsive design principles.
5. Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles.
6. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Agile development lifecycle).
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
8. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Proven experience leading UI development projects.
11. Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers.
12. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
13. Familiarity with server-side languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js) is a plus.
14. Understanding of SEO principles and implementation is a plus.
15. Passion for staying updated with the latest UI trends and technologies.
