Job Description:

Gulf Coast Symphony is looking for a dynamic, creative professional to capture photos, videos, and other content and turn them into engaging social media posts. The successful candidate will assist in planning and managing the social media strategy, shoot and edit photos and videos at various locations, design graphics, write copy, schedule posts, respond to and route comments and messages, and track and report on analytics.

Key qualities include being creative, motivated, and proactive, having a positive attitude, and being able to work and learn in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should also have excellent interpersonal communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and the initiative to perform tasks with little supervision.

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or Media
• 1-3 years of experience creating content
• High-quality phone, laptop, and camera
• Transportation
• Minimum 1 year of social media marketing experience
• Minimum 1 year of writing skills

Additional Information:

• Job Type: Part-time (10-20 hours per week)
• Flexible schedule
• Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
• Potential for the job to transition to a full-time position in the future
