Job Description:

For the Specialized Nutrition division, we are looking for a Senior Product Design and Development Manager to join the Powder & Plant Based - Fuel for Growth team. As part of your responsibilities, you will cooperate across functional lines as the Senior Product Developer to design and produce these goods for launch. The products must be created with an integrated design process that takes into account all business requirements (regulations, customer needs, nutrition standards, COGS, etc.), integrating an SN and FMCG approach.

Requirements:

• Ensure that formulas adhere to robust design principles, that risk mitigation measures are in place, and that all paperwork in accordance with our Fuel for Growth methodology is completed.
• Capable of anticipating risks and issues and proposing proactive solutions
• Incorporation of Product Performance Success Criteria including nutritional, sensory, physical, and chemical requirements to meet end-user objectives in proposed solutions
• Ensures new and reformulated products can be implemented on a production scale and that targeted product performance as well as operational efficiencies are achieved
• Engage with cross-functional team members to deliver tangible outcomes & milestones, with a high focus on quality in execution, safeguarding the Fuel for Growth’s fundamental role
• Working closely with Specification Management on raw material selection
• Provide a recommendation and path ahead for our processes and products through close collaboration with the Quality, Medical and Nutritional Science, and Regulatory teams
• Lead a conversation to identify possibilities for continuous improvement in working methods/knowledge capture and place them in teams
• Lessons learned (technical, working methods, leadership) and shared with relevant groups
