Job Description

Coordinate, administer and manage all music-related aspects of Erie Playhouse production and operations, including mainstage, Youtheatre and special events. Serve as the piano accompanist for Playhouse events, auditions, and performances. Organize and maintain the Erie Playhouse music library. Program and maintain electronic instruments and maintain the green room orchestra area.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in music and/or demonstrated proficiency in music instruction
• Experience working in a theatre setting
• Strong organizational, management and interpersonal skills
• Must be available for auditions, rehearsals, performances, and events as needed, including evenings and weekends
• Employment is conditional upon satisfactory background checks and clearances

Additional Information

• Job Type: Part-time
• Salary: $10,000-$12,000 annually, commensurate with experience
• Expected hours: 10-20 per week
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
• Work Location: In person
