Job Description

Sunset Strings Academy is seeking professionals who play the violin to join our after-school enrichment program. As a violin instructor, your primary responsibility will be to teach students at assigned schools in an age-appropriate and engaging manner. You will be expected to have a strong grasp of stringed pedagogy and be able to translate that knowledge effectively to students. Additionally, you should arrive at your assigned school with a positive attitude and be ready to create a fun and educational environment for the students. Regular attendance updates are also required at the start of each session.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in playing the violin
• Enthusiasm for working with children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide a safe learning environment for students
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends as needed
• Ability to commute to Boca Raton, FL reliably or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Additional Information

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Schedule: After school, choose your own hours from Monday to Friday, on-call availability, and weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types: Commission pay
