Job Description:

i3 is looking for a Part Time 2D Production Artist to help craft crisp 2D elements, detailed 2D diagrams, and more for its Virtual Training, Simulation, and Gaming business. As a 2D Production Artist, you will be responsible for creating graphics used for digital products based in the Unity game engine. You will work with delivery teams to create 2D imagery for multi-platform, customer-facing software.

Responsibilities:

• Support design efforts of digital products by creating graphics
• Work with Creative Director and Creative Services team to validate designs
• Implement graphics and visual elements into the Unity game engine
• Work closely with Software Engineers to ensure accurate implementation
• Regularly workshop efforts with Creative Director and Creative Services team
• Leverage design thinking and techniques to develop strategies

Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent in work experience (2 years) in graphic design
• Working knowledge and skill in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, and other Adobe Creative Suite products
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

Preferred Experience:

• Working knowledge and/or understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in motion graphics, branding, logomark design, high-profile print design, marketing projects, collaborations, and video work
• Understanding and appreciation of contemporary graphic design concepts
• Understanding of foundational design principles and practices, typography, and color
