Job Description

We are looking for an experienced nightlife photographer to cover regular sessions at a prestigious Burnley nightclub. The frequency of work is a minimum of 4x shoots per calendar month, with shifts typically lasting 2-3 hours on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays between 8:00 pm and 3:00 am. This is a freelance position and there are no sales involved or commission-based pay. Rates of pay range from £35.00 for a 1-hour minimum session to £110.00 for a 6-hour session, with higher rates for red carpet and special events.

Applicants must be courteous and efficient, able to generate a high shot count and quickly edit and upload images to our website. Delivery of edited photos is required by 15:00 hrs the following day. Creative guidance and technical support are available on request.

Requirements

• Previous nightlife/club photography experience (samples required)
• A high-end digital SLR camera with a dedicated external flash
• Interchangeable lenses: a standard “portrait”/zoom lens and a wide-angle lens
• Access to a computer for off-site editing and a broadband connection for uploading
• Comprehensive knowledge of digital editing software (PhotoShop or Lightroom)
• Preferably access to a motor vehicle
• Preferably own public liability insurance with a minimum of £3M cover
• Confident, outgoing, reliable, and able to execute consistently high-quality work
• All applicants must be over 18 years of age and eligible to work in the UK
