Job Description:

Hello Digital Social Media is seeking a Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing social media accounts for our clients, planning posts, handling ads, engagement, and brand visibility across various platforms. This is a remote position with flexible hours, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home. You will be required to be available during normal business hours from 9 am - 5pm and attend a weekly meeting on Wednesdays.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle phone calls and communications with clients to understand their goals, objectives, and preferences.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, addressing inquiries, and providing regular updates.
  • Create, curate, and manage all social media content for assigned clients across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to meet client objectives and enhance brand presence.
  • Utilize social media planning tools such as buffer.com, hootsuite.com, and others to schedule and coordinate posts for optimal engagement.
  • Monitor trends, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Use graphic design tools like Canva to create visually appealing and engaging content.
  • Develop multimedia content (images, videos, etc.) that aligns with client branding.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and social media best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts across various platforms.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients.
  • Proficiency in using social media planning tools such as buffer.com, hootsuite.com, etc.
  • Experience with graphic design tools like Canva.
  • Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client needs.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
