Job Description:
House of dré is seeking freelance interior designers for short to medium term contracts in 2024. The contracts will be between one and six months, with potential for a full-time position in the future. The role will involve assisting in private residential and commercial projects, focusing on drawing production, ff&e design, sample collection/organization, and project administration. The ideal candidate will have a great eye for design and the ability to sketch by hand.
Requirements:
- Minimum of four years of experience in architecture or interior design
- Proficiency in Vectorworks (open to other CAD packages)
- Experience with Photoshop, In-design, and Sketch-up
Additional Information:
- The studio is located in Hackney Downs Studios, a creative community shared with other artists and designers
- There is an emphasis on arts & crafts in the studio, and practical skills in making or crafty hobbies are a plus
