Job Description:

As a Social Media Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
• Creating and curating engaging content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Managing social media accounts and monitoring analytics to track performance and make data-driven decisions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing
• Conducting research on target audience preferences and interests to inform content creation
• Utilizing social media management tools such as Hootsuite to schedule and publish posts
• Collaborating with graphic designers to create visually appealing and on-brand graphics for social media posts
• Monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely manner
• Implementing SEO strategies to optimize social media profiles and increase organic reach

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
• Proficient in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite
• Strong understanding of graphic design principles and experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Familiarity with research techniques for identifying target audience preferences and interests
• Knowledge of E-commerce platforms and strategies for driving online sales through social media
• Understanding of branding principles and ability to stigmatize content accordingly
• Familiarity with SEO best practices for optimizing social media profiles and content
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:

• Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
