Job Description:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing Key Account customers, supplying both own brand and branded products. They are responsible for delivering sales and gross margin targets in line with company objectives. The role entails developing and implementing effective and collaborative growth plans and seeking out opportunities that will maximize profitability and growth through existing customers.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Manage existing Key Accounts, retain, develop and grow these and ensure maximum profitability.
- Grow existing accounts, assuming responsibility for new accounts.
- Develop an account plan for each Account to drive growth, specifically identifying additional opportunities from within these accounts.
- Deliver the budgeted sales and gross margin for allocated accounts.
- Provide day to day support and present accounts with analytical management information and KPI reports.
- Effectively plan and schedule calls/meetings to ensure that you maximize opportunities.
- Ensure CRM is fully utilized for all customer meetings, contacts, and actions as well as sales pipeline opportunities and movement.
Requirements:
- Experience of working as an Account Manager in a customer facing sales role.
- Competence in the use of Microsoft Office programs such as Powerpoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral (including presentations).
- A full driving license is essential for the position.
- Proven track record of working to KPIs and achieving sales targets.

- FTC: Maternity Cover - 14 Months
