Job Description:

We are seeking a video editor with experience in Adobe Premiere to work on a final post-production for a documentary film. The editor will be responsible for finishing a 111-minute feature-length documentary, including final audio, motion graphics, titles, coloring, sizing, and upscaling of archives. The role will involve collaborating with the writer/director and producers on-location to complete the film, which is an independent project heading to festivals and distribution.

The editor must have flexible availability and a proven track record of delivering results. Applicants must include links to their reels, resume, and a letter of interest.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere or CC
• Creative and technical skills in video editing
• Experience with audio, motion graphics, titles, coloring, and sizing
• Ability to upscale archives, work with b-roll and sot’s
• Strong design sense and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate and share ideas
• Must be able to work mostly on-location in Palm Springs, CA
