Job Description
Immediate requirement for 3 x Outside IR35 Contract Android Developers on initial 6 month contracts to work on greenfield projects. You will be working as part of a team of 3 launching an app from scratch in 7 months. You will be working with a large, and ever expanding, Kotlin codebase and will include feature development and enhancements, issue resolution and performance improvements, tooling production and automation.
Requirements
- Experience in writing code using Kotlin or Java in Android Studio.
- Proven working experience with modern Android libraries and APIs.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to Back End services.
- Experience with unit testing including testing frameworks such as Espresso.
- Understanding of basic source control concepts and tooling.
- Knowledge of web technologies, chrome web inspector or Android web view APIs.
Additional Information
The role is paying £450-540p/d (DOE). 2 days per week in Manchester for a 6 month initial period.
