Job Description
This is a contract on-site Audio Technician role located in Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Audio Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio equipment for events and productions, troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions, and ensure optimum sound quality. Installation of Speakers and Cabling.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in setting up and operating live sound equipment, including digital mixers, amplifiers, speakers, and microphones
- Knowledge of audio signal routing and processing, and experience with sound reinforcement systems
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently, and provide solutions to ensure minimum downtime
- Experience with lighting, video, and projection systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is a plus
