Job Description

The Web Designer / Web Graphics Designer will be responsible for improving the customer experience and simplifying the language, navigations, and instructional information on the Unemployment Insurance web sites. They will review the UI web sites and make recommendations for interface design, accessibility standards, industry trends, and platform standards. The role will involve creating web page components using graphics software applications, developing user interface features, designing web sites to support external communications, and creating animated informational videos for training and public information campaigns. The designer will also collaborate with team members to create engaging content for social media platforms and assist in managing social media accounts and posts. Additionally, they will review and assess agency web presence for ADA compliance.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in graphic design
• 1 year of experience in UX design
• Excellent knowledge of design applications (Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, After effects, and InDesign) or similar products

Starts: Ready to hire

Schedule: Hybrid then remote. For the first 90 days, it will be in the office 3 days, remote 2 days (member chooses days). After 90 days, full remote work may be offered.

Salary: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
