Job Description:

We are looking for a social media manager for our Instagram @MBsDessertsUK. The role involves working 1 day per week, with 4 hours working from home and 4 hours creating content within the shop. The shop is located at 40 Craigs Road L13 9AT. The main responsibilities of the role include:

• Developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
• Managing all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Creating and curating engaging content for social media posts, including graphics, videos, and written copy
• Monitoring social media trends and staying up-to-date with industry best practices
• Engaging with followers and responding to comments and messages in a timely manner
• Analysing social media metrics and providing regular reports on performance and insights

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of public relations principles and practices is a plus
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple social media accounts simultaneously
• Experience with analytics tools to track social media performance

Other Information:

• Salary: £100.00 per day
• Expected hours: 8 per week
