Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join Sauna House’s growing team. The responsibilities of this position will include creating graphic design elements that meet the clear specifications of the Sauna House brand guidelines. This position will help create and deliver digital assets for print, email, social, video, and retail displays for multiple Sauna House locations. To be successful, an ideal candidate will be a quick study with a willingness to understand the Sauna House brand and how to convey it visually across multiple mediums. Ultimately, a successful Junior Graphic Designer will be able to create assets with the support of Sauna House’s Creative Director, be open to learning while having a passion for helping build a lasting and unique brand.

Requirements

• Proven experience in graphic design through academic projects, internships, or entry-level positions
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma and Canva
• Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and creativity
• Familiarity with online productivity tools like Notion with a willingness to incorporate such tools into one’s day-to-day work
• Willingness to learn and adapt on the job
• Ability to execute multiple projects under tight timelines

Responsibilities

1. Graphic Design: Create visually appealing designs for various marketing materials, including but not limited to social media graphics, website banners, print ads, building wraps, and promotional materials. Collaborate with the marketing team to understand design requirements and translate concepts into compelling visuals.
2. Brand Consistency: Ensure consistency in brand visuals across all platforms and materials. Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity.
3. Project Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creation, and product development, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality designs.
4. Feedback Incorporation: Receive and incorporate constructive feedback to improve and refine designs. Proactively seek feedback to enhance design skills and knowledge.
5. Deadline Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project deadlines. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project timelines and potential challenges.

Additional Information

• Pay Rate: Contract-to-hire position - This roles will start as a contractual engagement with the potential to become a permanent position. 20-40 hours per week. Pay range: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour based on prior work experience.
