Job Description:

Sootchy is looking for a talented UI Designer to join their team on a contract basis. The UI Designer will report to the CEO/Head of Product and will have the opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid setting. The company operates in the FinTech/EdTech industry and is currently in the seed stage.

Requirements:

• Brilliant and curious mind
• Desire to have an impact on how the world operates
• Experience leading design teams in early-stage startups
• Experience in FinTech, EdTech, and/or AR/VR/Game Design
• Ability to design products that cater to diverse user groups with unique needs and life experiences
• Experience leading cross-team design sessions

Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct user research initiatives
• Participate in community events and gather insights from youth
• Draft and refine user journeys
• Create wireframes, mockups, and no-code prototypes
• Test prototypes with target user groups
• Guide and align the team on user experience
• Lead part-time and remote designers as needed
• Collaborate with key teammates (CEO, Head of Product, Lead Engineer, Customer Service Representatives)
• Work with core tools (Figma, Webflow, Hubspot)
