Job Description

Metavision is seeking a 3D Artist & Animator to join their team on a fixed-term contract of 6 months. The role involves working on various platforms such as Fortnite, Roblox, and Minecraft to create 3D assets for visual communication. The 3D Artist & Animator will be responsible for R&D projects, implementing and optimizing assets, collaborating with the Metavision Creative Department, providing input on visual design, and contributing to the development of processes and capability within Metavision Studio.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in developing assets for UE, UEFN, or Roblox
  • Experience in adapting assets from software packages to primary package
  • Demonstrated experience in shipping at least one gaming project
  • Strong understanding of rigging, skinning, and animation principles
  • Knowledge of game asset optimization and platform-specific requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant work in modeling and animation, with emphasis on assets created for Fortnite and Roblox

Other Information

  • Highly Desirable: Extensive experience in Blender -> UE5 pipelines
  • Highly Desirable: Familiarity with Fortnite Creative tools and Roblox Studio
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, and independently
