Job Description

Calamigos Ranch is looking for an Event Designer to set up table displays for events for the Catering Department. The Event Designer applies creativity and imagination to create unique and visually appealing table displays that support the culinary vision of each event. They collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure the food is showcased effectively. The Event Designer also ensures event design specifications are well understood and maintains specifications for the floor plan. They review design elements for effectiveness and complete set up prior to each event.

Requirements

• Eye for detail and ability to replicate table displays identically
• Ability to come up with new and innovative ideas
• Collaborative mindset
• Flexible availability based on events
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and use dollies and carts as needed
• Prior events management experience preferred
• Customer service experience preferred

• Hourly rate is based on experience
