Job Description:
Our client, a UK leading digital design marketing company based in Bristol, is seeking a talented and innovative PHP Developer to join their team on a part-time basis. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining clients’ websites, translating design concepts into responsive and user-friendly websites. Proficiency in WordPress, Laravel, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PHP is required. Additional responsibilities include customizing and extending WordPress themes and plugins, implementing responsive design principles, and collaborating with design and development teams. The developer will work on various projects including brochure websites, ecommerce stores, and bespoke web apps.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of WordPress
- Proficiency in Laravel, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PHP
- Experience customizing and extending WordPress themes and plugins
- Ability to translate design concepts into responsive and user-friendly websites
- Familiarity with MVC frameworks, specifically Vue
- Knowledge of Git, WooCommerce, Linux, MySQL, task runners/bundlers, AWS, Digital Ocean, and REST API’s

- Part-time position (3 days a week)
