Job Description

The Accessible Information Designer will join the Accessible Information Design Department at ACE Anglia. The role involves creating easy read materials for people with learning disabilities, including printed media and digital content. The designer will use specialist software to produce drafts, work with experts to ensure accessibility, and incorporate feedback to produce final drafts. They will also need to stay up-to-date with design trends and software tools.

Requirements

• Previous experience and knowledge in design, media production, and communication skills
• Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn and create easy read materials
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle
• Subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure

Additional Information

• Salary: £12.96 per hour
• Part-time role: 2 days per week
• Hybrid working between office in Stowmarket and home
