Job Description

Myers Power Products is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their team at the Myers Controlled Power factory in North Canton, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, planning, and estimating time on jobs, creating customer approval drawings, designing and detailing CAD drawings, requisitioning purchase parts, working closely with shop personnel, creating project bills of material, occasionally conducting field measurement trips, and quoting drawings.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Mechanical Design (or equivalent work experience)
  • Four (4) years of drafting experience, including sheet metal fabrication
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in switchgear design and CAD

Additional Information

The position offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive employee benefits, including paid overtime, vacation and sick time, paid holidays (9 days), paid life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, company-paid short- and long-term disability insurance, medical, dental, and vision insurance (including 100% company-paid employee only medical plans).
