Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative 2D Animator to join our team. As a 2D Animator, you will be responsible for bringing characters and scenes to life through the use of animation techniques. Your work will contribute to the overall visual storytelling of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D animations using various software tools and techniques
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and refine animation concepts
- Understand and interpret storyboards, scripts, and pop throughs
- Ensure animations are delivered within project timelines and meet quality standards
- Collaborate with other animators, artists, and designers to ensure a cohesive visual style
- Continuously improve animation skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends
Requirements
- Proficient in 2D animation techniques and software such as Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom
- Strong knowledge of cinema, storytelling, and character development
- Understanding of anatomy and how it applies to character movement
- Ability to edit videos and incorporate animations using video editing software
- Knowledge of color theory and the ability to create visually appealing animations
- Familiarity with blending techniques to create smooth transitions between animations
- Strong understanding of character animation principles and the ability to bring characters to life
