Job Description:

Wilcox Recognition is seeking energetic, creative, and friendly photographers to join our team. Our photographers will be responsible for capturing high-quality photographs in various settings and environments for students, faculty & staff, athletes, teams, and groups. They will also assist in organizing and maintaining a portfolio of images, as well as editing and retouching photos using Adobe Creative Suite and other editing software.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a photographer preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Canon mirrorless technology.
• Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator) for editing and retouching photos a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with other editing software such as Capture One and Final Cut Pro is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of photography techniques, including camera settings, backdrops for a variety of photo shoots, and lighting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to capture the essence of a subject or scene.
• Reliable, insured vehicle and U.S. driver’s license.
• Willingness to work a varied seasonal schedule, including early mornings and some evenings, if needed.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to lift and operate camera equipment - up to 40 lbs.
• Prolonged periods of standing.

Other Information:

This position is part-time and seasonal with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. The work schedule may include shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours, day shifts, evenings as needed, and Monday to Friday. Applicants should have the ability to submit a resume and should be willing to work on the road.
