Job Description:

Bowes Media Inc, located in Montreal QC, is seeking 1-2 junior editors to join its editing team. The editors will work in a cohesive collaborative editing space, working on large scale, corporate, branded, and docu-series projects. The company values mutual respect and work-life balance. The editors will be responsible for editing rough cut sections as directed, versionizing after effect templates, logging/project management tasks, and preparing supporting documentation when needed.

Requirements:

• Experience in video editing
• Formal education in TV/film or related field preferred
• Proficiency with Adobe CC Suite applications (Premiere and After Effects)
• Interest/knowledge of Sports, Action sports, Motor-sports a plus
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced collaborative environment
• High level of attention to detail
• Highly organized and capable of following pre-determined work-flows
• Ability to take directions well and learn from your mistakes
• Pop culture and cultural editing style awareness

Additional Information:

Language requirement: English and/or French

Travel to the company’s editing facilities is required, as remote editing is not available for new team members.
