Job Description:

The CAD Designer is responsible for creating and modifying detailed technical drawings and models using CAD software. They collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to produce accurate and precise designs that meet project requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D models, drawings, and specifications using CAD software based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand design concepts, specifications, and project objectives.
  • Create and modify technical drawings, plans, and layouts, including dimensions, materials, and finishes.
  • Ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards, regulations, and project specifications.
  • Conduct research and gather information to support design decisions and resolve design related issues.
  • Review and interpret technical documentation, blueprints, sketches, and other relevant information.
  • Perform calculations and analyze design data to ensure feasibility and compliance with technical requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in CAD design.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to provide technical support and guidance during production processes.
  • Document and maintain design files, records, and revisions for future reference and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a CAD Designer or Drafter, with proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
  • Strong technical drawing and modeling skills, with the ability to create accurate and detailed designs.
  • Solid understanding of engineering and architectural principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and creating technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve design issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies is a plus.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with CAD software advancements and industry trends.

  • Job Type: Temp-to-hire
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
  • Experience: AutoCAD: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Ability to Relocate: Milan, TN 38358: Relocate before starting work (Required)
