Job Description:

This role covers a wide range of technologies, with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure and D365. The Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-level applications using .NET Core, C#, and Azure PaaS. They will also be accountable for escalating issues and risks, executing tasks as directed by the Delivery Architect, and ensuring development standards are followed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Designing, engineering, and developing enterprise-level applications using .NET Core, C#, and Azure PaaS
• Implementing core REST + JSON based APIs
• Escalating issues and risks through the Delivery Architect
• Communicating and raising awareness to the Delivery Architect regarding issues, risks, or impediments
• Ensuring development standards are followed through code quality reviews and compliance scans
• Working with team members to define business requirements and finalize work plans
• Performing unit and integration testing on all developed code
• Participating in design discussions and troubleshooting problems
• Supporting and troubleshooting application deployment issues
• Working closely with other developers and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle
• Working in a dynamic, changing environment using continuous integration

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2+ years of PaaS implementation experience in Azure
• 2+ years of experience with Azure services such as Web Apps, API Mgmt, Logic App, Function, and Service Bus
• 2+ years of experience with SQL Azure, Azure Tables, and Cosmos
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise integration, APIs, and service-oriented architecture
• 5+ years of development experience with C#/.NET and Microsoft SQL Server
• 5+ years of PowerShell experience
• 5+ years of experience with Visual Studio and continuous integration
• 2+ years of experience with infrastructure as code
• 3+ years of experience in object-oriented design and building backend applications with REST API services
• 2+ years of UI development experience
• Strong understanding of web services, XML, JSON, and HTTP protocol
• Knowledge of EAI SOA best practices, development methodologies, and standards
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React is a plus)
• Experience with complex use cases and error handling
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment using Azure DevOps
• Microsoft or Azure certifications are a plus
• Hands-on experience with AWS and AWS certification are a plus

Technologies:

• Frameworks: .NET Core 2.1+ (required), Azure PaaS, jQuery, ReactJS
• Databases: NoSQL db (Azure Cosmos, MongoDB), SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Tables, Stored Procedure Development, Performance Tuning
• Working with CI/CD Pipelines in Azure DevOps
• XUnit/Moq are a plus

Other Information:

MCSE or other Microsoft certifications and Azure Certifications are a plus.
